I... assume it's because it'll make them an easy target? If they can't get out of the pool then someone will easily be able to kill them if they wanted.

[ they've probably only lucked out that someone hasn't taken that opportunity yet. ]

Then wouldn't raising it make you less of a target? How does that work?

I have no idea. Maybe they won't be able to get you out of your room?

[ since one of the big questions is how are they getting victims out of your motel rooms. ]

That might be it, but can you really not kill someone at all while they're in their rooms...?

Oh, I'm sure your roommate could probably kill you. But as we have seen, not everyone knows how to pick a lock.

Lockpicking is not as hard as all these killers are making it out to be.

I know. I suppose we should be grateful that they all seem to be very bad at it.

Since three people are supposed to be the "survivors", it has to be that "Mother" has three people working for her. Right? So after Mira, we're down to two, but the disadvantage now is we don't know their roles.

[ninjay]

We're assuming one of them is the Soldier, I think. The problem there is that I doubt that person will be sharing their role with anyone, so I'm not sure exactly how we'd track them down without discovering every single person's role and figure it out by a process of elimination.

Or we can get it right by chance, I guess.

It's gotta be, otherwise they would've spoken up when Mira said she was the one. Even if they just said "no, I know who the soldier is", we would've believed it. [hmmmm] There's gotta be a way to figure it out besides knowing literally everyone's roles.

[ninjay]

It would be easier if there really was a role to check other roles.

[ people has theorized that there was one, who helped mira out the first time, but that could have been mother. ]

If there is, they're probably not on our side. That'd be way too easy. [grumbling] Wish there was a way to check sides, too.

[ninjay]

That may be difficult. Because even if there is a set group, other people outside of it can also kill. Since... I don't think Kamui was part of it.

[ tbh kamui just seemed like he wanted to do it just because. ]

And we don't know for whoever killed Hibiki, either. Which was probably Tsurugi but whatever.

I feel like we should probably actually talk to him directly to see what he's like.

[ jay has not said a single word to him so far. so. ]

He's been keeping scarce, right? Like... I haven't seen him around that much.

Pretty much. Which isn't surprising, since I'm sure most people are suspicious of him.

[ although probably even more since he's apparently keeping his head down. ]

It makes sense, but... I really wish we knew why he did it.

Money, probably. I heard he said he'd do anything for it.

[ which... is admittedly a less impressive motive than mira's was, but eh. ]

That sounds like something Stan would say, but even he has his limits. [...] I mean, probably. He probably has his limits. [has stan ever killed a man. he's been in jail a lot.]

I see. Well, I would really hope that he would kill people for money.

[ that might be an awkward discovery to go back home to, if they do return home after this. ]
