There's a lot of ways you can answer that. Some people are against killing, no matter what the circumstance is. But then others might make an exception for someone who's especially evil and may, in their opinion, deserve it.

A few people I've spoken to have claimed that maybe just letting the dead stay dead here would be better than taking the deal. That would be a fate worse than death though. I know taking away that choice from people was a terrible thing to do. We know that. And I'm sure there are people who might be willing to stay behind to let the others go home. Maybe we should have trusted the others more, but... if I'm honest, it's not like you all gave me many reasons to trust you in the first place.
