What if you didn't leave shortly after? What if you actually sat down with us, and explained why you felt that reaching out to others would be a better idea? I'm not saying we would have definitely agreed with you, don't get me wrong. But sometimes a different viewpoint, at the right moment, can change the course of things.

I know it's not an excuse for what we've done, but... you have to understand that from the beginning, we were placed in a position different than yours that made it so that we could only really trust each other.
